1. Information Collection
LegalMind collects nothing.
The app runs inside the macOS sandbox and does not declare the com.apple.security.network.client entitlement — meaning the macOS kernel physically blocks any outbound network connection. This is not a company promise; it is enforced by Apple’s sandbox mechanism.
2. Use of Information
None collected, none used. All cases / statutes / documents / inference results you import are stored only on your local disk (within the LegalMind workspace directory you designated).
3. Information Sharing
Not shared with any third party.
LLM inference runs locally via llama.cpp + open-source models — no cloud AI services are called.
4. Your Rights
- Uninstalling the app removes all application data. Your imported source files remain in your workspace directory (unless you delete them manually)
- You can verify the app’s permissions at any time via System Settings → Privacy & Security → LegalMind
- Continuity guarantee: if the company shuts down, the model + your data + the purchased .pkg installer remain 100% functional. No remote service is required for the app to keep working.
