Shixian Privacy Policy

1. Scope
Applies to restaurant merchants using the Shixian system and their table-QR customer ordering flow.
2. Merchant Data
Menus, inventory, orders, and revenue data entered by merchants are accessible only to the merchant. Shixian (the provider) does not read, analyze, or reuse this data.
Data is stored on the server instance the merchant purchased — either self-hosted or in our managed environment. In managed mode, data lives in tenant-isolated database schemas.
3. Customer Data
When a diner scans a table QR code:
- No account registration required — orders work without nickname or avatar
- WeChat Pay openids are bound only to that order, not aggregated for analytics
- Customer data is not shared with any third party
4. Third-party Integrations
Merchant-initiated integrations (Meituan / Eleme delivery, WeChat Pay / Alipay aggregator) follow the respective platform’s data protocol — Shixian acts only as a technical relay.
